Space Coast Early Intervention Center (SCEIC) is a non-profit therapeutic preschool for children with and without special needs. At SCEIC, we believe that children with and without developmental delays learning side-by-side allows all children to develop friendships; become leaders and role models, and learn acceptance and diversity. Space Coast Early Intervention Center relies on community support and volunteers in our effort to serve the families who need us the most. Florida Book News - Annette Clifford Wins Humor Category in 59th Annual Green Eyeshade Awards

59TH ANNUAL GREEN EYESHADE AWARDS

Lane DeGregory of the St. Petersburg Times took top honors in the 59th Annual Green Eyeshade Awards, a journalism contest that recognizes excellence in 11 Southern states. DeGregory won “Best of Show” for her feature story, “The Girl in the Window.” DeGregory also won first place in the daily division of the annual Green Eyeshade Awards contest, which drew more than 500 entries from media outlets in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and West Virginia.

Annette Clifford -- Book Signing

World's Toughest Job author, Annette Clifford, will sign books Thursday night May 7 at the National Mom's Night Out event at the Melbourne Square Mall from 6 to 9pm.

The first nationally organized celebration of motherhood will pay tribute to moms while providing a great social networking opportunity with a live remote and prize giveaways by Lite Rock 93.3, style demonstrations, complimentary wine tasting, mini manicures, and much more.

National Mom's Nite Out at Melbourne Square Mall is sponsored by Imagine Schools; the event is free to the public. One of the highlights of the evening will be a drawing for a weekend getaway to the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando. Entrants must be present to win. Mom's Like Me magazine also will be giving away an assortment of prizes.
